The oldest city in Shenzhen is Nantou Ancient City, located at the northern end of Nanshan Peninsula, with an area of less than 1 square kilometer, which was called Chengzigang in ancient times.

The largest peninsula in Shenzhen is Dapeng Peninsula. Located in the southeast of Longgang District, including South Australia, Dapeng and Kwai Chung, with an area of 293.4438+0 square kilometers. Because the peninsula looks like a Dapeng living in the sea and is the habitat of Dapeng birds, it is named Dapeng Peninsula.

The total length is 122.8km, of which the length in Shenzhen is 51.24km. It passes through Baoan, Nanshan and Futian District and goes directly to Huanggang Port.

1994 Longgang industrial zone, the largest industrial base in Shenzhen, covers an area of 174 square kilometers. Shenzhen regards the start-up of Longgang Industrial Zone as a major economic work, making it a new economic growth point in Shenzhen in the next few years.

Shenzhen's first international container liner route was announced on June 6th, 1992. The maiden voyage from Shekou Port to Japan liner marks an important step for Shenzhen to become an international port.
