Why does Xifan Township in Daye sound like Xianning accent?

Xifan Township in Daye speaks the same accent as Xianning. Daye dialect belongs to Datong dialect of Chinese Gan dialect, which is popular in most towns and villages in and around the center of daye city. Judging from the source of population, Daye residents are mostly immigrants who filled Huguang, Jiangxi during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. Judging from the historical administrative divisions, Daye County also belonged to Jiangxi with Yangxin and Tongshan for a long period of time, and most of them had the same characteristics of Gan dialect.
