Canadian visa requirements?

All applying individuals or groups (including official delegations) must submit the following documents:

1. Two "Temporary Resident Visa Application Forms" completed in English or French , and sign and date. Each form must be signed in person. Note: Include your employer's telephone and fax numbers in column 10 of the form.

2. A "Family Form/Education and Employment Details Form" filled out in Chinese and English, or Chinese and French, signed and dated. Each form must be signed in person.

3. Four passport-size photos (color or black and white) taken within the past six months, with the applicant’s name clearly written in Chinese pinyin on the back of each photo Name and date of birth (in "day/month/year" order).

4. Original passport or travel document, which must have at least one blank page and be valid until at least one month after the date of your planned departure from Canada.

5. Two sticky labels with your mailing address written on them, and fill in your name, address and postal code in Chinese on them.

6. The exact amount of the application fee. Please note: Applicants holding diplomatic or official passports do not need to pay a fee, but applicants holding ordinary official passports or private passports do. Please see the "Charge Standards" page for application fee details.

7. Complete "Agent Information Form" (IMM5476E form), if there is anyone else to help you apply.

8. Children under 18 years old need to provide a consent form from their parents allowing the child to go abroad.

To apply for a business visa, please provide:

1. Each group should provide an invitation letter issued by Canada (original or fax is acceptable). The invitation letter must be issued by a Canadian person who will have direct business relations with the applicant. This does not include third parties who are solely responsible for arranging and facilitating business meetings. The invitation letter must include all of the following:

a) The full name, position, company address, contact number and fax number of the inviter;

b) The personal information of all members of the applying group Name, position and name of their employer;

c) A brief description of the reason for the invitation and a detailed description of the business or trade to be carried out;

d) This time The estimated start and end times of the visit, as well as a complete schedule;

e) Explain who will bear all the expenses for the visit; and

When applying for a tourist visa, please provide:

1. A leave approval letter on your employer’s letterhead. The letter must include the following: your name, position , current salary amount; the letter must also indicate your employer's name, address, telephone and fax numbers in Chinese;
