How to apply for a student visa to study in Hong Kong?

The general process for mainland students to apply for a Hong Kong student visa is:

1. Find a school and apply for a student visa with the assistance of the school;

2. Fill in the visa application (the school and the individual students each fill in an application document); And send the documents to the Hong Kong Immigration Department;

3. If the student visa application is approved, the Immigration Bureau will send a visa approval letter to the school and/or other mailing address you fill in, and you will go to Hong Kong with this approval letter and/or entrust others to obtain a visa/entry permit from the Immigration Bureau of Hong Kong;

4. With this visa/entry permit, go back to the Exit-Entry Administration of the Public Security Bureau where the mainland account is located to apply for a pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao (a certificate for mainlanders to travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao, similar to a passport) and a stay visa issued by the mainland;
