What are the main achievements of Sun Chuanting and Sun Chuanting in the history of Ming Dynasty?
In the forty-seventh year of Wanli (16 19), he was a scholar and was first awarded the magistrate of Yongcheng. In the early days of the apocalypse, he entered Beijing, served as the official minister, and was later promoted to doctor Ji Xun. Two years later, because of dissatisfaction with Wei Zhongxian's dictatorship, he abandoned his official position and returned to his hometown. In the autumn of the eighth year of Chongzhen (1635), Sun Chuanting became a doctor, and later he was promoted to Fu Cheng of Shuntianfu (now Beijing). At the beginning of the tenth year of Chongzhen (1637), Ma Jinzhong and other departments crossed into Shaanxi and attacked Shangzhou, Luonan and Lantian. Sun Chuanting led his troops and all the Ming armies, with superior forces, successively attacked the rebel armies of Shengwang, Guabei Wang, Yifei and Zhentianwang, which made the area south of Guanzhong tend to be pacified.
In the 12th year of Chongzhen (1639), the court transferred the military affairs of Baoding Lu Yu, and the governor Sun Chuanting and Sun Chuanting immediately went to visit the emperor, but failed because of Yang Sichang's various obstacles. Sun Chuanting was angry and went to rest with illness. But Yang Sichang still wouldn't let go, saying that Sun Chuanting's illness was an excuse. Emperor Chongzhen flew into a rage. After demoting Sun Chuanting to a civilian, he was put in prison for a verdict. At the beginning of October, Li Zicheng conquered Tongguan, and the company commanders Bai Guangen and Chen Yongfu surrendered to Li Zicheng. Li Zicheng besieged Sun Chuanting with 100,000 troops, and Sun Chuanting retreated to Weinan. On October 3rd, Sun Chuanting died at the age of 5 1. Chongzhen thought that he feigned death and absconded, without giving a shadow. In the same year 10, Li Zicheng attacked Xi 'an. Mrs. Sun's wife Zhang led her two daughters and three concubines to commit suicide, and her eight-year-old son Sun Shining was adopted by an old man. "History of Ming Dynasty" says: When the imperial court dies, Ming Dynasty dies.
Sun Chuanting's main achievement was to continuously expand his military strength and pay during his military affairs in Shaanxi. Around Xi 'an, there are 24,000 soldiers and more than 20,000 fields. Later, all fields belonged to the giants, and soldiers were only on the roster. After Sun Chuanting took over here, after governance, he got 1. 1 10,000 soldiers, and the annual tax was 1.45 million silver and 1.35 million stone rice and wheat.
Sun Chuanting compromised the agreement that the Ministry of War blocked the front line and stuck to Shangluo, and sent heavy troops to guard the strategic locations around Shangluo. When the rebel army led by Wang attacked Qingyang and Baoji that day, Sun Chuanting quickly turned back and was defeated in Heshui. At the beginning of the 11th year of Chongzhen (1638), facing this situation, Sun Chuanting thought that the main force of the rebel army was in Henan, so he led the army eastward and defeated thirteen military forces in Kanxiang (now northwest of Lingbao County, Henan Province) and Lingbaoshan District. The rebels were in a dilemma and had to ask Xiong Wencan to surrender. However, Sun Chuanting, who is famous for his main suppression, did not adopt Xiong Wencan's dissuasion and insisted on attacking the insurgents. Finally, he received Yang Sichang's calligraphy and stopped attacking. Although the rebels were summoned to surrender, they did not disarm, but changed their soldiers and waited for an opportunity to attack Shangluo area. Sun Chuanting ordered Wang Wenqing to lead several wars against the insurgents, and the rest of the insurgents were forced to move to Neixiang and Xichuan.
During the 25 years from the forty-seventh year of Wanli (16 19) to the sixteenth year of Chongzhen (1643), Sun Chuanting was gradually promoted from Yongcheng county magistrate to the minister of war, leading the military affairs of seven provinces, and participated in and presided over dozens of repression activities against the peasant uprising army in the late Ming Dynasty, which won the appreciation of the Ming court. No matter in the joint encirclement and suppression in all directions, or in the single action of guarding important points in flood season, he made the peasant uprising army into trouble many times with his unique cunning, resourcefulness and decisiveness, and became a rare trump card in the hands of the Ming court. Therefore, there is a saying that the imperial court died and Ming died in the history of Ming Dynasty.
