There are five in all. They are: American Consulate General in Chengdu, American Consulate General in Guangzhou, American Consulate General in Shanghai, American Consulate General in Shenyang and American Consulate General in Wuhan.

1. The US Consulate General in Chengdu opened on June 1985,1October 16, and moved from Jinjiang Hotel to the existing building at No.4 Consulate Road on August 2, 1993, located in the south of downtown Chengdu.
