What's the difference between Zhuanghe big bone chicken and ordinary chicken?

Zhuanghe bone chicken, also known as Zhuanghe chicken, is a famous local variety in China, which can be used for both meat and eggs. It is mainly produced in zhuanghe city, Dalian. As early as more than 200 years ago, during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, with a large number of Shandong immigrants moving into Zhuanghe, Shandong Shouguang Chicken and Jin Jiu Yellow Chicken were brought to cross with local chickens. Zhuanghe bone chicken was cultivated by ordinary people for many years. It has the characteristics of big body, big egg, bright coat color and delicious meat. Adult roosters have fiery red feathers, bright black tail feathers, tall and powerful bodies, and the maximum weight can reach 6.5 kilograms. Adult hens have ephedra or grass yellow feathers, weighing up to 4.5kg, and can lay up to 240 eggs a year, with an egg weight of 65g ~ 75g, with the maximum of1/0g ~120g. Zhuanghe bone chicken is suitable for grazing and feeding, mainly foraging insects and grass seeds, with strong disease resistance and rough feeding tolerance. It is one of the "four famous animals" in Liaoning Province.
