Yanduhe Middle School was founded in 1966 and has gone through a glorious course of more than 40 years. There are 16 classes, with 1020 students and 68 faculty members. The school plans to cover 33 acres. At present, teaching buildings, canteens, office buildings, boys' dormitories, girls' dormitories and other buildings that can meet the basic teaching needs are under construction, and the science and education building is also under preparation. The new campus construction project is planned by the Urban Planning and Design Institute of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Dormitories are designed according to the building standards of college students' apartments, and the overall supporting facilities of the campus meet the standardized standards.

In the fall semester of 2008, the school will move to the new campus for classes. From then on, the school will implement all student accommodation, single bed and single person accommodation, and fully enclosed management.
