You know, even if you accidentally carry some seed plants, the harm is enormous. For example, Eupatorium adenophorum, which everyone hates now, was probably when people inadvertently brought seeds into China.

After Eupatorium adenophorum was introduced to China from Southeast Asia, its natural enemies and competitors could hardly compete with it because of its strong adaptability and reproductive ability, so it quickly spread to all parts of the country, "wiped out" many native herbs, and caused a great impact on the ecology of China.

It can be said that any goods entering the customs will be risky before they have been evaluated, inspected and quarantined.

4. Tips for everyone to get in and out

Through the above cases, we must realize that the possible invasive species can be cut off and national security can be protected by not bringing animals and plants and their products prohibited by the state into the country.

In addition, there are some items from tourist destinations, such as Daphne bracelets, butterfly specimens, corals, ivory products, tortoiseshell, various conchs, shells, American ginseng, crocodile skin products, etc., many of which belong to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
