Does Thailand grant visa-free treatment to China?

By March 2023, Thailand will have to sign China, but only landing visa. However, there are also special circumstances. According to bilateral agreements, holders of China diplomatic passports and official passports are exempted from visas within 30 days of entering Thailand.

There are seven kinds of visas in Thailand: transit visas, tourist visas, business visas, non-immigrant visas, diplomatic visas, official visas and courtesy visas. Among them, non-immigrant visas are divided into ed, F and O. Tourist visas are valid for three months (single visit) or twelve months (multiple visits) and can stay for 60 days. Thailand requires that passports must be valid for more than 6 months, otherwise they will be refused entry. Check the validity period of your passport carefully before going abroad to avoid unnecessary losses.

If you hold a non-landing visa visa and don't want to leave Thailand after the visa expires, you need to apply for an extension to the General Immigration Bureau of Thailand before the visa expires. Under normal circumstances, it can only be postponed once, not exceeding 30 days. To apply for visa extension, you need to provide a copy of your passport, a 4×6cm photo and an extension fee. Under normal circumstances, visas on arrival will not be extended.

Visa expired:

If the visa expires, you must pay a fine for overstaying. If you are sent back to China, you can pay the fine directly at the airport immigration office. If you refuse to pay the fine, you will be prosecuted by the Immigration Bureau and detained in the immigration detention center before the court decides.

Since March 20, 20 16, the General Administration of Immigration of Thailand has increased the penalties for overstaying foreigners. Overstayers who surrender to the Immigration Bureau according to regulations, as well as foreigners who have stayed in Thailand for more than 90 days, are not allowed to enter the country within one year after leaving the country; Residence time exceeds 1 year, and entry into Thailand is prohibited within 3 years.

Stay in Thailand for more than 3 years and be prohibited from entering Thailand within 5 years; Stay in Thailand for more than 5 years, and you are not allowed to enter Thailand within 10 years. If the overstay time captured by the Immigration Bureau does not exceed 1 year, it is forbidden to enter Thailand within five years, and if it exceeds one year, it is forbidden to enter Thailand within1year.
