The main responsibilities of Hubei Provincial Immigration Bureau

According to the spirit of the Reply of Hubei Provincial Organization Committee on Adjusting the Name and Specification of Provincial Immigration Bureau (E-Ban Fa (2006) No.34) and the Reply of Hubei Provincial Organization Committee Members on Redefining the Main Responsibilities of Provincial Immigration Bureau (E-Ban Fa (2006) No.81), Hubei Immigration Bureau is established to manage the institutions directly under the provincial government (refer to the Civil Service Law). Its main responsibilities are as follows.

(a) to implement the policies, regulations and measures of the state and the province on the resettlement of water conservancy and hydropower projects, put forward relevant suggestions and opinions, and be responsible for the management and supervision of the resettlement of water conservancy and hydropower projects.

(two) entrusted by the provincial government, responsible for approving the outline of resettlement planning, guiding and coordinating the project owners and local governments to do a good job in the investigation of physical indicators in the project area and flooded area; Responsible for reviewing the resettlement plan and participating in the declaration and approval of water conservancy and hydropower projects as legal persons.

(three) responsible for the declaration and approval of the annual resettlement plan of various water conservancy and hydropower projects, arrange the annual resettlement tasks, and organize and coordinate the resettlement work.

(four) to organize, coordinate and guide the phased acceptance and completion acceptance of the resettlement work of water conservancy and hydropower projects.

(five) to organize the preparation and review of post-resettlement support plans, large, medium and small reservoir post-resettlement support projects, and the annual plans for support and funding projects in reservoir areas and resettlement areas; Organize the guidance, supervision, inspection and evaluation of the implementation of the late support policies for reservoir resettlement in the province.

(six) responsible for the comprehensive management and coordination of the follow-up work of the Three Gorges Project.

(seven) responsible for the South-to-North Water Transfer Project Danjiangkou Reservoir resettlement planning and implementation plan in Hubei Province, and organize the implementation and supervision.

(eight) responsible for the management of special funds for immigrants, the implementation of supervision and inspection of its disbursement, and accept the inspection and audit of the state.

(nine) to organize and coordinate the supervision of resettlement projects, formulate annual supervision plans, and organize the implementation of comprehensive supervision.

(ten) cooperate with the relevant departments of the province to manage all kinds of special matching funds, and promote the economic and social development of immigrant reservoir areas and resettlement areas.

(eleven) responsible for the propaganda, education, training, foreign affairs and letters and visits of the immigration work.

(twelve) to undertake other tasks assigned by the superior.
