In view of the rapid spread of COVID-19 epidemic around the world, China decided to temporarily stop foreigners from entering China with valid visas and residence permits from 0: 00 on March 28th, 2020. Prevent foreigners from entering the country with APEC business travel cards.
Suspension of port visas, 24/72/ 144-hour transit visa-free, Hainan visa-free entry, Shanghai cruise visa-free entry, Hong Kong and Macao foreigners visa-free entry to Guangdong 144-hour, ASEAN tour groups visa-free entry to Guangxi. Entry with diplomatic, official, courtesy and C visa will not be affected.
Foreigners who come to China to engage in necessary economic, trade, scientific and technological activities and urgent humanitarian needs may apply for visas from China embassies and consulates abroad. Foreigners holding visas issued after the announcement will not be affected.
