Explore Shangtian Ge 'ao Reservoir and Zunding Temple.
When our children were young, my family would walk in the farms and forests in Shan Ye every weekend. I have been in Fenghua for nearly 30 years. I think I have been to many places, but the fact is far from what I thought.
During a recent lunch break, several cultural figures who followed Fenghua began a short trip to explore Ueda.
What we passed ahead of schedule is the construction of Ge 'ao Reservoir, and a large-scale artificial lake will be formed here in the future. A scenic expressway was built next to it, with a unique grid railing beside it, which looks like the kind of seascape expressway. The reservoir hasn't been built yet, so it's refreshing to drive on this road. It is conceivable that after the reservoir is completed and put into use in the future, there will be a tree-lined lake on one side and a blooming Shan Ye on the other. What a pleasure it will be to drive on such a road!
In order to explore historical sites, we came to the farthest end of the reservoir, and some previous houses were basically demolished. According to Mr. Shen, a colleague, there were houses here a year ago, so it can be seen that this negotiation and demolition action is also fast enough.
According to the navigation, we found the zhaobi of the Ming dynasty, which is difficult to see without going near. There are not many decent buildings around except debris and weeds. This zhaobi is well preserved and consists of three parts, with a circular pattern in the middle and two dragons crawling on the roof at the top. The whole wall is symmetrical, and some repairs should be done during this period. He is like a chitose old man, guarding his home here alone and witnessing the past lives on this land. Can not help but remind people of Mr. Yu's Millennium sigh. Maybe when we see him again, it should be somewhere else!
The next destination is Zunding Temple in Meishan. Under the guidance of several enthusiastic villagers, we drove into a Panshan highway under construction. The road is wide and the mountain road is steep. On the way, I was blocked by several big MAC engineering vehicles, and I was regretfully walking home. At this time, the construction master said that as soon as they got off work, we moved the car to the side and their cart could drive away. It's really early, it's better to come at the right time!
Keep driving, it feels like a long way. The higher the plate, the more my ears seem to feel. I thought, it should cost a lot of money to build this road, right? Is this the road specially built by the government for the temple above? With this question, when we reached the top of the mountain, we arrived at the destination Zunding Temple. Standing at the gate of the temple, I found it a very good place to watch. Looking around, villages dotted with green hills look so quiet and carefree.
A road repair notice was posted near the main entrance of the Golden Hall, which also solved our doubts. One third of the original Panshan Highway funded by the temple was paid by the local government. Obviously, building this road is not only the desire of the temple, but also the support of the government.
Zunding Temple is more than 400 meters above sea level. According to legend, it rains in Meishan during the Dragon Boat Festival every year. It is said that Bodhisattva wants to clean Meishan, and praying here is very effective. As a result, many pilgrims are in an endless stream. Especially on the day before Dragon Boat Festival, people will come to the mountain to keep vigil and pray. The mountain road is long and steep. Isn't it a pity that these pilgrims started to build this mountain road?
On the left rear outside the temple, there is a very famous ancient well of alchemy. According to legend, in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, a Taoist named Ge Xianweng practiced in Meishan. At that time, a plague broke out in the coastal areas of Zhejiang, and herbs were searched everywhere in Mount Teshan. The water of natural mountain spring is refined into Dan medicine, which is widely used, and the medicine can cure the disease. People all over the world say that the Bodhisattva will come again to help the poor. Soon, people made statues to build shrines and offered incense. The spring water of this alchemy is called "medicine spring", also called holy water. Although there is no such thing as a bodhisattva in the category of Taoism, in the eyes of ordinary people, Taoists and monks are all regarded as bodhisattvas as long as they help to bless ordinary people. The essence of Taoism and Buddhism is to save the suffering and help all beings.
When I went down the mountain, I heard that there was a monk's tomb tower in Zunding Temple, which was rare and worth seeing. Some colleagues have seen it before and want to take us to see it. It may have been a long time ago, and I forgot the exact location. When going downhill and uphill, I found that I couldn't breathe, but I didn't find it. Fortunately, I asked the temple owner next to me, and I saw where my finger pointed.
On the hillside in front of the temple, a spire-like pillar stands in a piece of green. If you want to see your true colors, you must go down a very rude slope. The first few legs and feet have taken the lead. I've always been afraid of this road. In addition, I have been reluctant to go to such a place, so I have no intention of going down on the slope. However, as people around me gradually went down, including an 80-year-old man, who was unwilling to increase his curiosity, I finally made up my mind to go down carefully.
As soon as I got down from the mountain, I saw the whole picture of the tomb tower. The whole tomb is like the base of a tower. The main body and the upper pointed column are in the shape of a regular hexahedron. The main body is made of some long stones, and each stone is cut on a hexagonal corner with an angle of 120 degrees, and the incision is inclined. The stones coming from the other side form a perfect splicing at the corner, which not only ensures the regularity of the shape, but also prevents the displacement of the main stone from front, back, left and right, thus ensuring the stability of the main body. The ingenious stacking method fully demonstrated the wisdom and skill of the builders at that time.
At first glance, the steeple above the main body thought it was just an appendage of the main body. But a closer look reveals that the six faces of the subject are engraved with words. Although it is very old, it is faintly visible. Thanks to everyone's joint efforts, especially the records and analysis of Mr. Shen and Mr. Jiang, the content gradually became clear, and the inscription was: build an ordinary tower safely, and the tower looks directly at people and ghosts. Ghosts want to live in the pure land, and people want to know. All Buddhas in the Three Realms listen to Hua Yan's scriptures. Due to weathering, some words may not be very accurate, but the general meaning is clear. Although the monk's dharma number is still unknown, it can be seen that he lived and died together and was sincere to the Buddha. And we carefully identified and recorded in front of his tower, which should be in his will. Perhaps inadvertently, we have all become the disseminators of the Buddha's message.
At this moment, there is no original opinion, only admiration for the exquisite construction technology and the owner of the tomb, and the profound meaning of the name Zunding Temple seems to understand a little.
Although this trip is coming to an end here, I have gained a lot in a short afternoon, which not only cultivated my temperament, but also enriched my knowledge. Now it seems that the previous visits were basically just a cursory tour. I have been in Fenghua for many years, and I know very little about the surrounding areas of Fiona Fang, and my understanding of its history is quite scarce.
You can't travel far during the epidemic, don't regret it. In fact, there are many places worth exploring around here, looking forward to the next stop.
