Qinglongzui Reservoir is expected to complete feasibility study approval and start construction this year.

(Reporter Li Junru) Recently, the provincial government issued the "Reply on the Outline of Land Acquisition and Resettlement Planning for Qinglongzui Reservoir Project in Bazhou District, Bazhong City" and agreed to the "Outline of Land Acquisition and Resettlement Planning for Qinglongzui Reservoir Project in Bazhou District", marking a big step forward in the preliminary work of Qinglongzui Reservoir. The project is expected to complete the feasibility study approval and start construction this year.

It is understood that the dam site of Qinglongzui Reservoir Project is located in the upper reaches of Qingjiang River, the second tributary of Bahe River in Ziqinmiao Town, Bazhou District, Bazhong City, with a linear distance of about18km from the central city of Bazhong. It is a medium-sized reservoir project that mainly focuses on urban water supply and agricultural irrigation, taking into account drinking water for people and animals in villages and towns and rural areas and urban ecological water supply. The total storage capacity is 53.08 million cubic meters, the designed irrigation area is 5 1.9 million mu, and the total investment is/kloc-0.29 million yuan. After the completion of the project, the networking operation of Lotus City Reservoir will be one of the main water sources in Bacheng, which can solve the water supply problem of about 290,000 urban population in Bacheng and Economic Development Zone and the drinking water safety problem of 6,543,800+0,900 rural population.
