Basic requirements: the photos must be color photos in the last 6 months.

The photo size is 2x2 inches (5x5 cm) and the background must be white.

The size of the head (from the top of the head to the chin) should be between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inch (that is, 25mm to 35mm).

You must face the camera and show your ears.

You can't wear a uniform to shoot, except for religious needs.

You can't wear a hat or hood to cover your hair or hairline, unless you need to wear it every day because of religion. Even if you wear it, you must be able to see the whole face, and the hood can't cast any shadow on your face.

If you usually wear glasses (except colored contact lenses), hearing AIDS, or similar items, you don't need to take them off when shooting.

Sunglasses or colored contact lenses are not acceptable.

It is unacceptable to see reflections on glasses in photos. This reflection can usually be avoided by slightly lowering the position of the glasses, or taking off the glasses, or turning off the flash of the camera.

Other required dimensions: the image size must be square (that is, the height must be equal to the width). The minimum acceptable size is 600 × 600 pixels; The maximum acceptable size is 1200 × 1200 pixels. Please check the requirements of passport and visa photos for specific dimensions.

File format: the image must be in JPEG file format.

File size: The image must be less than or equal to 240KB (kilobytes).

Compression: Some pictures may need to be compressed to meet the size requirements, and the compression ratio should be less than or equal to 20: 1.
