The Belgian Immigration Service (or Foreign Affairs Office of the Ministry of the Interior) is the only official agency with the authority to issue short-stay and long-term stay visas. Applicants must submit complete application materials in accordance with the requirements of the consulate. The Belgian Consulate will be responsible for submitting the materials to the above-mentioned institutions for review and approval. Approval generally takes 2 months. Except for the certification fee of materials, there are no fees during the visa application process.
