How long does it take for mainlanders and Hong Kong people to get married and settle in Hong Kong?

After five years of marriage, you can settle in Hong Kong, get a one-way permit and work at the same time. You can apply for visiting relatives indefinitely for 90 days at a time, and then go back to your place of registration and stay in Hong Kong for another 90 days. Repeat this for five years, then you go back to the place where you registered, leave your account at the local police station, and then apply for a one-way permit at the exit-entry administration office. After you get a one-way permit, you can stay in Hong Kong. After two years, you can get a Hong Kong permanent identity card and apply for a SAR passport.
