Boli historical records

This used to be a border town in the early Qing Dynasty.

Boli is one of the important towns in the northeast frontier in the early Qing Dynasty. Located on the east bank of the confluence of Heilongjiang and Wusuli rivers. The Liao Dynasty set up five ambassadors to govern the lower reaches of Heilongjiang, with Boheli as the first of the five countries. In the Ming Dynasty, Bahuluwei was established here, belonging to Nurgandus. In the eighth year of Qing Dynasty (1643), Bo and Li Geshan were established here. Also known as Boli, Split Ali, Boli, Divorce, Boli, Boli, etc. They are all different Chinese transliteration of the same word in Jurchen language, which originally means "pea". Tang was the resident of Heishui County, where Boli County was established in the 10th year of Kaiyuan (772). The Liao Dynasty was the seat of Ali, one of the five countries. The Jin Dynasty diverted to the lake (now Yilan). The Yuan Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of Shuida Road. In the Ming Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Nuer Daitu Department, and there was Xi Shenwei in Xichan Village nearby. In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to three surnames, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, General Ningguta and Jilin General. 1858, after Russia forced the Qing government to sign the "Love Faint Treaty", Governor Muraviev of East Siberia arrived with his troops, and set up a military post here as the camp of the 13th frontier camp of Siberia, Russia, and named Boli Khabalov Ka after Khabalov, the leader of the Russian invasion of Heilongjiang River basin in the middle of17th century. 1860, Russia forced the Qing government to sign the Beijing Treaty, and Boli was occupied by Russia. 1883, Russia renamed Khabarovsk Khabarovsk.

Forced to sign the Beijing treaty

Boli area is the earliest settlement of Daur nationality in China. Here is rich in aquatic products, famous for salmon and bighead carp. With the arrival of Guanzhong immigrants in the middle and late Qing Dynasty, Shandong people built a small fishing port here. Locals commonly call it "Boli Tunzi" and officials call it "Boli". Glass Tun guards the two estuaries, and its geographical position is very superior. The south can reach the Sea of Japan by land, and the east can reach the Sea of Okhotsk by water. When it controls this place, it controls the Far East. Tsarist Russia has long coveted Boli and its surrounding areas. After the occupation of Heilongjiang, Russian aggression intensified. As soon as Muraviev and Yi Xin signed the Love Faint Treaty, they led Amur Cossack to build houses and temples on the right bank of Wusuli River, build churches, emigrate widely, set up forts and set up fortress guns. At the same time, the name of Khabarovsk, which was renamed before Poli, was named Khabarovska. 1In the spring of 859, Muraviev continued to actively pursue the policy of armed migration to the east of Wusuli River, and built 20 villages and towns without authorization, including Bu xie cun, Upper mihailov Village, Lower mihailov Village, Earl Village and Prince Village. Residential areas are becoming more and more dense, and more and more people are moving. Stations and villages are also set up by land to Xingkai Lake. Tsarist Russia has only one contract to formally annex Boli. /kloc-in the spring of 0/860, the British and French allied forces attacked Beijing, and the Manchu court fled. Russian diplomatic representative Ignachev pretended to be a "mediator", while provoking Britain and France to continue attacking Beijing, while "helping" the emperor Qi Yixin, who was caught and served as a temporary negotiator before he could escape. Yixin was forced to sign the Beijing Treaty with Russia, and more than 400,000 square kilometers of land east of Wusuli River was occupied by Russia. Boli no longer belongs to China's territory, but becomes Russian territory.
