Brief introduction of Badong Yangtze River Bridge in Hubei Province
Badong Yangtze River Bridge is a super-large bridge across the Yangtze River on National Highway 209, about 2.5 kilometers away from Wuxiakou and 72 kilometers away from the Three Gorges Dam. The north bank of the bridge is connected to the reconstruction project of National Highway 209 (inundation reconstruction project of Three Gorges reservoir area), and the south bank is connected to Jiang Yan Road, Badong New County. The main bridge of this bridge is a prestressed concrete beam cable-stayed bridge with twin towers and double cable planes. The bridge type is I-beam 4× 40m cable-stayed bridge 170m 388m 170m, and the whole bridge length is 908m. The total width of concrete main girder of cable-stayed bridge is 22m, the height of side span rib is 2.5m, the height of main span rib is 2.72m, and the roof thickness is 32cm. Type A cable tower, the height of the north tower is 2 18m, and the height of the south tower is 2 13m, with high-strength parallel steel wire stay cables. The bridge was officially started at 5438+0 in April 2006 and was completed and opened to traffic on July 2, 2004.
