Qiemo County is poor, because Qiemo County is located in the south of Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, at the northern foot of Kunlun Mountain and Altun Mountain, and at the southeast edge of Tarim Basin. It is 280km east to Ruoqiang County, 3 15km west to Minfeng County in Hotan area, 315 km south to Altun Mountain, 3/5 km east to Kunlun Mountain and Xizang Autonomous Region, 3/5 km north to Taklimakan Desert facing Yuli County, and 320km northwest to Shaya County in Aksu area, with the widest east-west and the longest north-south 460km. Medical conditions are relatively backward. In order to bring the advanced medical resources and services we brought to the vast number of Qiemo people, we have also brought medical equipment into rural and pastoral areas many times to provide free clinic services to help Qiemo people find their illness as soon as possible and give guiding treatment suggestions, so that they can get timely treatment, which has been well received by local people.
