4. If it is not approved, it shall issue a notice of disapproval to the applicant; Upon approval, the Ministry of Public Security will issue a permanent residence permit for foreigners. If the applicant is abroad, the Ministry of Public Security will issue the Confirmation Form for the Permanent Residence Status of Foreigners. The applicant shall apply for a D-visa at China's embassies and consulates abroad with this form, and obtain a foreigner's permanent residence permit from the public security organ that accepted the application within 30 days after entry.
