What do you mean, wealth can't be lewd, and poverty can't be moved!

1. You can't be lascivious if you have money: even if you have money, you don't do anything serious, you don't want luxury, and you don't want to be addicted to wine and color.

Poverty cannot be moved: even if it is poor, it will not be poor. You won't stoop for five bushels of rice, and you won't do anything unkind and unfair.

3. Awesome and unyielding: No matter how brave you are, you can only convince others with virtue, not with force and abuse force.

Doing the above three points is a real man.

Wealth can't confuse his thoughts, poverty can't change his ethics, and power can't subdue his will.

Mencius in the Warring States period had a few very good words: "Wealth cannot be lewd, poverty cannot be moved, and powerful people cannot be bent. This is called a gentleman. " It means that high officials and rich people can't be bought, poverty and hardship can't be tortured, and violent force can't be threatened. This is the so-called gentleman. These actions of a gentleman show heroism, which we call backbone today.
