What's the difference between a tour guide and a tour leader?

Team leader refers to taking tourists abroad, and the focus of the team leader's work is to lead the team, urge overseas institutions and handle entry and exit. The work of tour guides focuses on the reception of tourists and the explanation of scenic spots.

The tour leader generally refers to the tour guide who leads the outbound tour group, that is, the overseas tour leader, who is a full-time escort sent by the tour group organization to accompany the tourists abroad. The requirements of tour leaders are higher than those of tour guides. Tour guides often have experienced tour guides and must obtain tour guide qualifications.

The tour leader should have certain English or destination country/region language ability. Some provinces also require tour leaders to have more than one year's experience as tour guides before taking up their posts. Tour guides are required to have good language expression and communication skills, master local knowledge of humanities, history and geography, and have strong organizational skills of connecting the preceding with the following, connecting the inside and outside, and coordinating the left and right.
