What is an immigration card?
The "Entry and Exit Card" is an official document proving that international students have entered Russia. An entry and exit card is necessary when checking in. If an international student does not have an entry-exit card, he cannot register in Russia and will be deported immediately. Generally, flight attendants hand entry and exit cards to passengers on the plane. You can still get this card at the immigration office after arriving at the Russian airport. The immigration card has two identical parts, and you need to fill them both out. At entry passport control, the immigration officer stamps both parts of the immigration card. One part should be kept at the immigration office, and the other part should be kept well. Please verify for yourself that the part of your immigration card you have is stamped. Please keep your foreign passport and immigration card with you at all times when you stay in Russia.
