How to apply for a US visa in Halifax, Canada?

It is not difficult to apply for an American visa in Canada. American consulates are located in all major regions of Canada. Friends from China who live in several Atlantic provinces can choose to drive to Halifax, the central city, for face-to-face interviews. Come and have a look with me.

Step 1: Fill in the form DS- 160.

First choose the interview location: Halifax, Canada, and then click "Start Application". After setting security questions, click Continue. The last step is to upload photos. This step is very important, and it is a document that must be provided after that day.

Step 2: Make an appointment for an interview.

To log in to a website, first select a language, create an account, and then log in. Fill in passport number, birthday, nationality and verification code. After logging in, the system will automatically connect to the DS 160 form you filled in before (DS 160 form is actually like a basic file for you). Select the time and place of the interview on the same page, and then click Submit until the payment page pops up. Visa/Master/American Express is accepted, and the application fee is 65438 USD +060. Remember to print the receipt after payment.

Pay special attention to one thing.

When you make an appointment, you will be asked whether to apply for transit in Canada. If you choose yes, it will be difficult for you to make an appointment!

Materials required for the interview:

After the appointment is completed, a page will tell you what documents you need to bring for the interview. It is recommended to read through the contents of the page and make clear what you need to carry and what you can't carry.

New immigrants and visitors need to carry their certificates with them:
