I have two students studying in Germany, and I admire the importance that Germans attach to education. They often tell me that I sort it out as follows:

Germany is a developed country, but the natural population growth rate is very low, which leads to the government's policy of encouraging fertility, which mainly includes two aspects. First, in terms of money, a couple gives birth to a child and rewards more than 70,000 euros, which is roughly equivalent to 600,000 yuan; The second is to give mothers with children a three-year holiday, which can be taken from the beginning of pregnancy to take care of and educate their children.

? Mothers who have given birth start full-time parenting and education, and they no longer go to work. Moreover, the education of children has cultivated the spirit of independence since childhood. For example, when a child falls, Chinese mothers always run over and pick up the child to coax her, but German mothers let themselves get up when they see the child fall, regardless of whether the child is crying again. Adults will never take the place of what children can do. They will focus on guidance and never intervene.

Family education in Germany is very important in two aspects: one is habit education, and the other is moral quality education.

For example, in terms of habit cultivation, Germans cultivate children's reading habits from an early age. My students say that they often see adults and children love reading. People read books in cars, chairs in streets and public areas, and children are reading books when they are not playing! My students say with envy that the children are reading thick and big books, and they feel a little ashamed.

In terms of moral quality training, Germans attach great importance to team education. Play games, study, craft and so on. Everyone needs teamwork. Every child does his or her job, does his or her own thing well, does not offside, and exerts the strength of the team.

My students say that in families with children, parents put their children first, work is limited to working hours, and they never work after work. Their education for children includes playing games, tidying rooms, shoveling snow in public areas in winter and so on.

In school, children's classes are based on practice and all need the above spirit.
