Does Canada need federal approval to nominate immigrants?

Canada's nomination of immigrants does require the approval of the federal government. According to the relevant policies, once the applicant is nominated by a Canadian province, whether to issue an immigrant visa needs to pass the examination of the Federal Immigration Service, mainly the examination of health and safety and no criminal record. After being approved by the Federal Bureau, the applicant's whole family can obtain a permanent residence visa in Canada (commonly known as' Maple Leaf Card').
