The time limit stipulated in the procedure is 3 months; After obtaining the passport, get in touch with the embassy, submit a copy of the report certificate and the report of loss to the person in charge of the embassy, and go through the visa subsidy procedures.

Secondly, if the passport is lost abroad, there are two procedures:

1. Get in touch with the consulate as soon as possible and bring a copy of my passport and visa to embassies and consulates in China to report the loss. It takes about two to three months to process. China Consulate will show students temporary id card, which will be used in a short time. Wait until the passport is completed, and then subsidize the visa.

2. You can also apply for a new passport with the help of your family in China, with the relevant certificates issued by the people of China and China's embassies and consulates abroad, and send it to Japan to apply for a new visa. Time can be mastered flexibly.

3. If you return to China after leaving the country, your passport will be lost.
