How long does it take to apply for an electronic visa in Turkey?
At the beginning of 20 15, Turkey began to implement electronic visas for China citizens who went to Turkey for tourism and short-term business visits. As long as you go to the websites of evisa.gov.tr, Turkey and China, fill in the application form as required, and pay a visa fee of 60 dollars, you can get an electronic visa (one-time entry, stay for 30 days). It should be noted that the applicant's passport must be valid for more than half a year.
According to Article 7. 1b of Law No.6458 on Foreigners and International Protection, foreigners who want to enter Turkey must hold passports and travel documents, and the validity of passports and travel documents must exceed the "stay period" allowed by visas, e-visas, visa-free or residence permits for at least 60 days.
Extended data:
In order to enable China citizens to use Turkish e-visa correctly and enter the country smoothly, the Consulate General in Istanbul would like to remind you as follows:
1. Foreign citizens who enter the country with an electronic visa from Turkey must also hold a valid visa from Schengen countries or OECD countries. If the visa of the above countries is a one-time entry visa, you must enter Turkey before going to the above countries, otherwise you will be refused entry by Turkey; If you have multiple valid visas for the above countries, there is no such requirement.
2. The visa for Schengen countries or OECD countries must be a sticker visa. At present, the border inspection department of Turkish airport does not recognize the electronic visa of the above countries. Please complete the sticker visa of relevant countries before going to Turkey.
3. When you enter the country with an e-visa, you must show your printed e-visa, otherwise you will be refused entry.
4. Citizens who go to China should pay attention to the above matters. Don't blindly apply for an e-visa to save trouble or money, so as not to affect your trip or suffer unnecessary economic losses because of the invalid e-visa.
