Heihe City, formerly known as Aihui, is a prefecture-level city in Heilongjiang Province. City * * * governs 1 municipal district, 3 county-level cities and 2 counties, with a total area of 68,726 square kilometers.

Heihe River is located in the northeast of China, in the north of Heilongjiang Province, bordering Yichun City and Suihua City in the southeast, Qiqihar City in the southwest, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region across Nenjiang River in the west and Daxing 'anling in the north.

With the center line of the main channel of Heilongjiang as the boundary, it faces Blagoveshchensk, the capital of Amur region, the third largest city in the Russian Far East, across the Heilongjiang River. It is the only pair of counterpart cities on the Sino-Russian border with the largest scale, the highest specifications, the most complete functions and the closest distance, which is only 750 meters.

Climatic characteristics

Heihe city belongs to the continental monsoon climate of cold temperate zone, spanning three, four, five and sixty-four accumulated temperature zones. Hot and windy in spring, rainy and hot in summer, cool and intense in autumn, cold and dry in winter, long in winter and short in summer, with four distinct seasons.
