Overview of Caohu Industrial Park

Xiangcheng Economic Development Zone Caohu Industrial Park is located in the northwest of Xiangcheng District, Suzhou City, bordering Suzhou Industrial Park in the east, Suzhou High-tech Zone in the south, Wuxi High-tech Development Zone in the west and Changshu in the north, with an area of 80 square kilometers, of which Caohu water area is 9.07 square kilometers.

Caohu Lake is an important lake in Xiangcheng District in ancient times, and it is also the earliest area where Wu people entered Xiangcheng from the northern part of Taihu Lake. Originally called Chaohu Lake, later called Lihu Lake. In the third year of A.D. (473), the doctor of the State of Yue attacked Wu to dig a tomb, and Shi Shuo Xin Yu contained: "Attacking Wu to dig a tomb, hence the name. It is said that it is also by water. " Caohu Lake is 5.9 kilometers long with an average width of 1.5 kilometers. The lake basin is flat, rich in aquatic products, beautiful in scenery and full of vitality.
