What industries will AI replace in the future?

Drivers bear the brunt of being replaced. With Baidu and Google’s rapid research and development of driverless cars, in a year or two, AI driverless cars will be much safer than human-driven cars. Taxi, truck, and bus drivers will then lose their jobs, giving way to self-driving cars.

Ordinary doctors are facing unemployment. The data owned by AI is unlimited. Through the collection of big data, all diseases in the world can be recorded. However, the knowledge and ability of ordinary doctors is limited, so ordinary doctors will definitely be replaced by AI in the future. These ordinary doctors are faced with two paths: changing careers or specializing in surgery.

Part of the education industry will be replaced. Artificial intelligence can systematically replace teachers in completing repetitive tasks such as marking, grading, and designing courses; teachers will spend more time on personalized creative teaching thinking and students.

Large-scale replacement in the service industry. Repetitive and simple occupations such as mechanics, construction workers, tailors, couriers, meter readers, cashiers, security guards and dishwashers will inevitably be replaced by artificial intelligence.

In general, repetitive work that does not require much thinking, simple processing of information, or follow-up work will be replaced. Compared with humans, machines lack originality, interaction and negotiation capabilities, so those more complex jobs are not easily replaced, such as lawyers, reporters, police, and artists.
