Brief introduction of southwest university library

Southwest University Library is located at the foot of Jinyun Mountain, a national scenic spot in Beibei, Chongqing, and beside the beautiful Jialing River. In 2005, the former Southwest Normal University Library and the former Southwest Agricultural University Library merged to form the Southwest University Library. After several years' development, Southwest University Library has successively become the sci-tech novelty retrieval workstation of the Ministry of Education, the "National Key Protection Unit of Ancient Books" awarded by the State Council, and the document sub-center of Southwest University, a platform for sharing scientific and technological resources in Chongqing. As of August 2005, the library of Southwest Normal University has a building area of 65,438+05,589 square meters, 89 teaching staff and 65,438+065,438+005 reading seats.
