Brief introduction of Zhu Qiao town

Zhu Qiao Town belongs to Pudong New Area, which is a town under its jurisdiction. Located in the middle of Pudong New Area, it is adjacent to Pudong International Airport and Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone in the east, commercial aircraft assembly base in the south, Disneyland and Shanghai East Station in the west, and Hongqiao-Pudong Airport development golden axis in the north. It is the core area of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Port, Pudong Airport and Yangshan Deepwater Port. It is the hinterland of building Shanghai into an international shipping center and China's large aircraft industry. Zhu Qiao Town covers an area of 154.6 square kilometers, and governs 64 villages in 5 communities including Zhu Qiao, Yancang, Donghai, Jiangzhen and Shiwan, with a town population of120,000, including 75,000 permanent residents. There is the former residence of Zhang Wentian, a national key cultural relics protection unit. In June 2003, it was named "Shanghai Patriotism Education Base" by the Shanghai Municipal Government.
