What are the recruitment requirements for China's embassies and consulates abroad?
The embassy or consulate has the following two institutions:
1. China embassy abroad: it is the permanent diplomatic representative office of China in the capitals of countries with diplomatic relations. In other words, the embassy represents the interests of the whole country and is responsible for the relations between the two countries. The primary responsibility is political relations. Ambassadors are appointed by the head of state and perform their duties as representatives of the head of state.
2. China Consulates Abroad: It is the general name of China's consular representative offices in a city of other countries, and is responsible for the management of local nationals and other consular affairs.
The difference between them is that the embassy is responsible for foreign affairs and the consulate is responsible for overseas Chinese affairs. Sometimes, embassies also act as consulates.

Short-term travel sometimes requires a return certificate just in case.

4. Consular certification: Consular certification is an activity to confirm the final seal and signature on domestic foreign-related notarial certificates, other supporting documents or relevant foreign documents. Chinese embassies and consulates abroad may apply for consular certification for notarial certificates or other supporting documents issued by relevant institutions in the host country, which have been certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the host country or institutions with the right to apply for consular certification, and intend to send them to China for use.
