Introduction: The Qinghai Provincial High-Grade Highway Construction Management Bureau was established in September 1999 with the approval of the Provincial Editorial Committee. It is a self-financing county-level institution. At present, the Maping West Expressway (Machangyuan to Pingan to Xining), Ningda Expressway (Xining to Datong), Xita Expressway (Xining to Kumbum Temple), Xita first-class highway (Xining to Daotanghe), Pingxi Expressway (Xining to Daotanghe), A Expressway (Ping'an to Adai), Ninghu first-level highway (Xining to Huzhu), Huanggui second-level highway (Huangzhong to Guide), the total mileage open to traffic is about 440 kilometers. Currently, the bureau's projects under construction include the Lajishan Tunnel on the Xijiu Highway and the Xining Transit Highway.
