Li Zhensheng (193 1 February 25th-), a native of Zibo, Shandong province, is a geneticist, an expert in agricultural development strategy, a wheat genetic breeder, and the founder of wheat distant hybridization breeding in China. He is known as "the contemporary Hou Ji" and "the father of China distant hybridization".
