Operation steps and process flow of printing plate

The process flow of printing plate is as follows: preparing photosensitive plate-mounting plate-exposure-development-inspection-correction-baking plate-ink pumping-glue wiping.

Preparation of photosensitive plate: the preparation process includes three steps: preparation of photosensitive liquid, surface treatment of plate base and coating and drying. PS plate photosensitive liquid is mainly composed of photosensitive agent (diazo), film forming agent (synthetic resin) and organic solvent.

The surface of the metal plate must be pretreated into a fine porous sand net structure to improve the adsorption capacity, so as to establish a solid graphic part and a stable blank part in printing.

Coating is to evenly cover the photosensitive liquid on the metal plate base.

Drying is the environmental change of temperature and humidity, and it is the function of PS plate to quickly form uniform and clean conjunctiva.

Plate loading: Put the photosensitive plate and the original plate (the graphic basis of the printing plate) in the corresponding position of the printing machine and operate. It usually includes three specific operations: original positioning, shading of backing plate and airtight sealing.

Exposure: exposure of the photosensitive plate produces a chemical reaction, thus realizing the reproduction of pictures and texts from the manuscript to the photosensitive plate. Positive PS plate is exposed under ultraviolet light.

Development: removing the photosensitive layer of the blank part to expose the hydrophilic metal oxide film.

Inspection and correction: correct the quality problems of PS plate after exposure and development.

Baked version: refers to the heat treatment of the PS version of the graphic base in a high temperature environment, with the aim of enhancing the stability, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of the graphic part.

Ink promotion: apply developing ink to the layout. Ink extraction has the function of enhancing the ink affinity of graphic parts and facilitating inspection.

Rubbing: A chemical glue is selected to rub on the layout to make the printing plate antifouling, dustproof and antioxidant.
