3. Elemental chlorine bleaching (ECF)

However, because ClO2 bleaching process will produce a small amount of elemental chlorine, strictly speaking, this is not absolute chlorine-free bleaching. 4. Total chlorine-free bleaching (TCF)

Chlorine-free bleaching is bleaching with oxygen-containing chemicals such as H2O2, ozone and peracetic acid without using any chlorine-containing bleaching agent.
