Brief introduction of Wendeng pumped storage power station in Shandong Province

Wendeng Pumped Storage Power Station is located in Jieshi Town, Wendeng City, Jiaodong District, Shandong Province. The project area is about 35 kilometers away from Wendeng Highway. The installed capacity of the power station is 1800MW, the annual power generation is 2.628 billion kw h, the annual pumping power consumption is 3.504 billion kw h, and the annual utilization hours are1460 h h. The main task is to undertake the tasks of peak regulation, frequency modulation, phase modulation, load standby and emergency standby in Shandong power grid. The project is wholly owned by State Grid Corporation, and it is expected to start in June of 20 14, the first unit will be put into production at the end of 20 19, and all units will be put into production in the first half of 20021year.
