Then we can listen to VOA and other radio programs.
There are also some things in VOA that are very beneficial for us to prepare for the exam, and there are many other materials. For example, I personally think that the English version of Exploration is a very powerful preparation material for us, because many topics are similar to the new TOEFL, and listening and reading are similar to the TOEFL, which is also better. Therefore, if your hearing is weak, I suggest that you improve your listening as soon as possible at all costs, which is very powerful for us to take the TOEFL test.
The third key: note-taking ability is the focus of TOEFL.

Why do you say that? Because listening usually takes 5 or 6 minutes, and there is no problem in the process of listening, I will answer your questions in a few minutes, take a lot of notes while listening, and then answer questions according to your notes, and you will answer them professionally. The same is true of spoken English, especially the ability to take notes, because you need to take notes on questions 3, 4, 5 and 6 of spoken English. Questions 3, 4, 5 and 6 require us to take oral answers in combination with listening and reading, that is, the combination of reading, listening and speaking requires us to have very strong note-taking ability on reading materials and listening materials.
Including writing. The comprehensive writing of the composition requires us to read an article and listen to an article before writing. Therefore, taking good notes is very helpful for writing. Therefore, we find that the key to conquer the new TOEFL is to have a good listening ability and a large vocabulary, and then improve your ability to take notes quickly. Now I have summed up a set of methods. When listening to the exam, students should first divide their draft paper into several large pieces. It can be seen that the ability to take notes is very critical to the survival in American university classes. If you master this ability now, whether you go abroad for graduate studies or undergraduate studies, it will be of great help to your success in American universities. So I personally think that the third key to the success of the new TOEFL is how to take better notes.
The last point: model test VS TPO
The fourth point is to do a model test before the exam, because as long as there is a reasonable plan to improve listening, speaking, reading and writing, there will be no problem. The model test before the exam is very important for TOEFL scores, so now almost all of us have imported authoritative exam counseling materials issued overseas, such as Delta Press, Longman and Balang, and other publishing houses. We can do a lot of model tests with these books.
In addition to this model test, you can also go to the ETS website to find a product called TPO. This model test costs about $30. These topics are particularly valuable to us. Why? ETS TOEFL test questions are actually real questions that have been tested in the past, so many students find that the scores of the model test are similar to the actual scores after the test, because they are exactly the same as the actual TOEFL test. TPO is a computer test, which provides students with opportunities for computer operation and actual combat.
So on the one hand, we have a lot of teaching materials, Longman's teaching materials and so on. Secondly, TPO is particularly valuable. Now there are 6 sets of questions. Just go directly to the ets website. For China candidates, no matter how many simulation questions are trained in any exam, they can basically get good grades. I also firmly believe that as long as we do more than a dozen sets of simulation questions and several sets of online versions, we can basically achieve satisfactory results in the new TOEFL test.
