Baidu Encyclopedia shows that Taizhou Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone was formerly known as Zhejiang Toumengang Economic Development Zone, and was established as a provincial development zone with the approval of Zhejiang Provincial Government in 20 17. In June, 20021,the State Council approved the upgrading of Toumengang Economic and Technological Development Zone to a national economic and technological development zone, and named it Taizhou Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone. Taizhou Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone covers an area of 72.95 square kilometers, with Zhejiang Toumengang Economic Development Zone as the core area, integrating Lingang New City, Nanyang, Beiyang, Hongjiaoyan and other trusteeship blocks, radiating and driving the development of quasi-trusteeship areas such as coastal economic development zone and Jiaojiang block of pharmaceutical park.
