Discovery of zeolite

1756, a Swedish mineralogist named Krans accidentally discovered a kind of ore. When burning, the water in the pores quickly gasified and discharged like boiling, so this stone was named "zeolite".

Hundreds of millions of years ago, the fiery magma erupted from volcanoes on the earth flowed into the cold sea water, formed beautiful crystals at the moment when water and fire blended and sank to the bottom of the sea. After hundreds of millions of years of surface movement, a gem-like beautiful ore-zeolite has been formed.

Zeolite is a porous aluminosilicate ore with hydrous skeleton structure, and its basic structure is silica tetrahedron (SiO4) and alumina tetrahedron (AlO4). Zeolite is full of tiny holes and channels, which is much more complicated than honeycomb. 1 cubic micron has 1 ten thousand nano-scale holes. The internal pore size of zeolite is 0.3~ 1 nm.

Zeolite is called "the stone of life and vitality" in western countries. In the United States, it has been used in animals for 30 years, and it has been used in human experiments as a medicine for 13 years. It is generally considered safe by FDA. Zeolite has been certified by NASA and applied in research. It is a safe inorganic substance registered by ICID (record number: 19488, high-tech additive). The safety of the main components of zeolite has been analyzed and confirmed by the Pharmacology Committee of the Russian Ministry of Health, and only approved by the Russian branch of the World Red Cross, agreeing to use the Red Cross logo in the trademark of this product. It is proved that zeolite, as a new raw material ore, is the only edible stone in the world.

The five characteristics of zeolite support its great use in soil remediation, environmental protection building materials, daily light industry, water treatment, medical treatment, environmental protection, national defense electronics, petrochemical industry and so on. But at present, it is only widely used in the world, and the application of zeolite is relatively rough in China due to technical limitations. At present, only the research institutions under Beijing SDIC Shi Sheng Technology Co., Ltd. have made new breakthroughs in integrating Korean and Japanese technologies with the research of top zeolite experts in China in the near future, and new products and technologies have emerged in industries such as environmental protection building materials, soil remediation, daily light industry, water treatment and environmental protection.
