What kind of terrain does Mount Emei belong to?
Going to Emei Mountain, visiting Xixi Group, traveling, staying in hot springs, eating, drinking and having fun is the lowest price in China.
Question 2: The mountain topography of Emei Mountain is as shown in the figure.
question 3: how is the karst cave topography in Emei mountain formed? Emei Mountain is located in the southwest edge of Sichuan platform, where there are Emei fault, Guanxinpo fault, Gouduanshan fault and Baoguosi fault. Among them, Emei fault is the largest. It controls the development of landform and the division of landform units in this area. The Emei anticline is divided into triangular fault blocks by the northeast Emei fault and the northwest Guanxinpo fault. Since the crustal movement (Sichuan movement) at the end of Cretaceous, this fault block began to rise gradually with strong folding and fault movement, and laid the basic skeleton of the landform in this area. At the end of Tertiary, due to the Himalayan movement, the Indian plate collided strongly with the * * * block, and the strong compressive force generated by it affected the whole eastern Asia. The Emei Mountain body slipped upward along the Emei fault plane due to intense compression again and again, which caused the Emei fault block to rise. By the middle of Quaternary (more than one million years ago), it had risen by more than 2, meters, and in recent hundreds of thousands of years, it has risen by about 1, meters. So a fault-block mountain rose from the ground. Except the triangle between Emei fault and Guanxinpo fault (the main part of Emei Mountain) rises strongly, it also rises on the north side of Guanxinpo fault (Chunyangdian and Fenghuangping) and the outside of the foothills (Huangwan and Ereshan), but at different speeds. It is believed that in the past 5 years, the main body of Mount Emei has increased by 2 mm per year on average; On the north side of Guanxinpo fault, the average annual increase is 1 mm; While the outside of the foothills rose by .2 mm.. Because it rises at three different speeds in the same period, the modern Emei Mountain area presents three platforms, namely, the low mountain at the eastern foot is the first level, with an altitude of 6 ~ 7 meters; Wannian Temple, Fenghuangping and Niubeishan are Grade II, with an altitude of about 1,2 meters. Jiulao Cavern, Daping and Huayanding (Tianchi Peak and Baozhang Peak) are the third level, with an altitude of 1,7 ~ 1,9 meters. In addition, above Xixiangchi Scenic Resort, there are also multi-level caves and terrain platforms, such as the platform with an altitude of 2 ~ 25 meters represented by Gongbei Mountain and Wangmao Mountain; A platform with an altitude of 3, ~ 3,1 meters, represented by Jinding and Qianfoding. However, the formation period of these platforms is relatively old, and the fault-block mountain was eroded by external forces during the rising process caused by internal forces, so the shape of the platforms was poorly preserved. The denudation of external forces is strongest in the axial part of Emei anticline. The cumulative thickness (Z~~K) of sedimentary rocks here is 6 meters. After long-term erosion by external forces such as flowing water, freeze-thaw weathering and gravity collapse, rock strata disappear, granite is exposed, and the mountain slope is reduced. The elevation of anticline axis is only 18 ~ 2 meters. Taking Tianchi Peak as a watershed, Heilongjiang and Bailong River are formed in the north. In the south, the negative topography of anticlinal valley and secondary valleys, which are dominated by Zhanggou, shows the landform of high mountains and deep valleys. However, the west wing of the anticline rises high, forming a one-sided mountain. Its ridge extends along the north-south direction, and the front slope freezes and collapses strongly, forming a precipice with a relative height of more than 7 meters and a length of kilometers. The Jinding, the Thousand Buddha Top and the Ten Thousand Buddha Top at the edge of the cliff are still the three sharp seams of this single-sided mountain. The back slope of the single-sided mountain is a gentle slope with open terrain, which is in sharp contrast with the cliff on the front slope. In the lower part of the front slope of the single-sided mountain, the axis of the anticline and the east wing of the anticline, that is, at an altitude of 6 ~ 24 meters, the valley landform is very typical. Gullies, gullies and canyons are widely developed. The cross section is V-shaped. Gully beds and river beds often fall into water. There are several levels of points in the longitudinal section, which are step-like. The upstream sections of Bailong River, Heilongjiang River and Zhanggou are dominated by reverse valleys, while the downstream sections are anticlinal valley and secondary valleys. The drop of these three rivers from the source to the mountain pass is more than 2 meters, so the flowing water has a strong effect. From the foot of Emei Mountain to the piedmont plain, alluvial fans and river terraces developed. Emei plain in front of the mountain is a relatively subsidence basin developed during the uplift of Emei fault block mountain. The plain is about 2 kilometers long and 1 kilometers wide, and it is an irregular rectangular plain. Most of it is composed of large and small alluvial fans formed by Shuang Fu River, Emei River, Linjiang River and several ravines, and the largest alluvial fan is the Gao Qiao alluvial fan piled up by Zhanggou flood. After the river leaves the canyon and enters the hills and plains, the erosion of flowing water gradually becomes mainly lateral erosion, with gentle valley slope, wide riverbed and developed meanders. Huangwan, Zhangba and Yaoping are three large meanders, and there are four terraces on the banks of meanders. Among them, Grade III is relatively intact, and Grade III and IV are hills. Mount Emei is the rainfall center in China and the west of our province, with an average annual rainfall of 158~19 mm. And most of the rainfall is concentrated from June to September. Therefore, the erosion of running water, especially the torrent formed by heavy rain, has a strong erosion on mountainous areas. Plus Emei fault block mountain is strong ... > >
Question 4: Geomorphological characteristics of Mount Emei The Yanshan movement in the late Mesozoic in China's geological history laid the outline of the geological structure of Mount Emei, and the Himalayan movement in the Neotectonic period and the accompanying uplift of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau created Mount Emei. Emei Mountain, because the top of the mountain is a large piece of basalt ejected from Paleozoic era, its lower strata are protected and its height is maintained, and because of the "strong waterfall cutting" inside the mountain, a "canyon peak terrain" with a height of more than 2 meters is formed. The terrain along the mountain climbing is different because of the strata: if it is in limestone layer, there are cave landforms such as Zangding Old Cave; After passing through granite and metamorphic rock areas, it forms a deep gorge posture; The solid basalt on the top of the mountain is a scene of lava platform.
question 5: what kind of tea does Emei mountain produce? There are only three famous teas in Emei Mountain:
Xianzhi bamboo tip
Emei snow bud and bamboo leaf green
The rest are floating clouds! !
