How to work in Singapore?

The requirements for going to Singapore are as follows:

1. Original passport (valid for at least 6 months, counting from the scheduled entry date).

2. Two recent color photos with one-inch suede and white background.

3. Copy of household registration book and ID card of the whole family (front and back of the new generation).

4. On-the-job certificate of the unit (if there is no work unit, the original relevant documents shall be provided).

5. Unemployment certificate or secondary school attendance certificate (retirees need to provide retirement certificate and its copy).

Precautions for entry and exit in Singapore

China citizens holding ordinary passports for personal reasons need to apply for entry visas in advance. China citizens who hold diplomatic passports and official passports (including ordinary official passports) and stay in Singapore for no more than 30 days are exempt from visas. If they stay for more than 30 days, or for the purpose of work, study or any profit-making activities, they should apply for visas or relevant permits according to the regulations of the competent authorities of the Singapore government.

China passport holders do not enjoy the 96-hour visa-free transit policy. If you take a low-cost airline flight and transfer through Singapore Changi Airport (including transferring to the same low-cost airline flight), you must obtain an entry visa to Singapore in advance.

When entering Singapore, you must show your passport, visa and completed entry and exit cards (entry and exit cards are in triplicate, and the remaining two are entry cards, which will be taken away when entering Singapore; On the right is the exit card, commonly known as the "white card", which is one of the proofs of legal entry. It should be properly kept so that it can be returned when leaving the country.
