Does ACCA have the right to sign contracts abroad?

I must talk about the right to sign. Many people don't understand that it is a terrible thing not to have the right to sign. Actually, it is not. The right to sign refers to the right to sign the audit report, which is only used by people who are engaged in the audit industry and have obtained certain positions, such as managers and partners. Most accounting talents work in the industrial and commercial field and do not need any signature right. For example:

1. The financial analysis of an enterprise does not require the right to sign.

2. The financial manager, accounting manager and tax manager of the enterprise do not need the right to sign.

3. Non-manager auditors in the company do not need to sign the audit report.

4. The tax, consulting and other personnel in the firm do not need the right to sign.

5. The general financial personnel in the enterprise do not need the right to sign.

Therefore, the right to sign is only applicable to some employees in the audit field in the five branches of accounting (financial accounting, management accounting, financial management, taxation and auditing), and other major matters do not require the right to sign.

In fact, apart from the right to sign, the benefits of CPA can actually improve all aspects of your finance, and ACCA is the same at this point, so our discussion about whether ACCA is good or not has little to do with China's right to sign.

At the same time, ACCA also has the right to sign contracts in some countries, such as Britain, Ireland and other EU countries.

What is the right to sign?

The right to sign is actually the right of CPA to sign the audit report. An accountant without the right to sign is not qualified to sign the audit report, which is the exclusive symbol and right of a certified public accountant.

In China, certified public accountants are the only professional organizations that have the right to sign audit reports. The fact that ACCA has no right to sign depends on which country this sentence was said.

We should know that the right to sign audit reports belongs to different countries and regions, and different laws and policies in different places determine that only a small number of people in their own countries have the right to sign. In other words, in Chinese mainland, only CICPA holders have the right to sign, in Hong Kong, only HKCPA holders have the right to sign, and in the United States, only USCPA holders have the right to sign.

ACCA is a British accountant, and naturally has no right to sign in China due to the restrictions of national laws and regulations. But when you pass the P7 of ACCA, you can get the endorsement right of Commonwealth countries.

The right to sign is not as important as the legend. Obtaining a certificate does not enjoy the right to sign. Generally, countries and regions will require the holder to have certain work experience. Moreover, if you don't plan to work in an accounting firm all your life, then the signing right is "decoration" for you, because you don't need it at all.

The right to sign is limited to the time when the certified public accountant needs to sign the audit report issued by the accounting firm. Moreover, in a firm, generally only partners and senior managers can sign. In other words, even if you get the right to sign, it's no use if the firm doesn't appoint you to sign.
