According to the civil aviation resource network, NanyangJiangyingAirport, referred to as Nanyang Airport, is a civil airport in Jiang Ying Village, Wancheng District, Nanyang City, Henan Province, China. Located at 12km east of Nanyang city center, adjacent to National Highway 3 12, Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway and Erguang Expressway, it has convenient traffic conditions and provides aviation services for Nanyang city and its surrounding areas. It is one of only three built civil airports in Henan Province, and the other two are Beijiao Airport in Luoyang and Xinzheng International Airport in Zhengzhou.

Nanyang Airport is located in the plain of Nanyang Basin, surrounded by no hills and tall buildings, with good clearance, distinct seasons and good climate. The airport was built in 1934 and moved to 1992 in June, covering an area of 2,903 mu.
