Shaanxi Diesel Engine Factory (State-owned 408), located in Xingping City, Shaanxi Province, belongs to China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. This is one of the 65,438+056 key projects invested and constructed during the first five-year plan period. China is the largest professional manufacturer of high-speed and high-power diesel engines and diesel generators, and the main supplier of naval ship power. The factory attaches great importance to product development and upgrading. Over the years, we have always been guided by the guiding ideology of "producing a generation, developing a generation, and conceiving a generation", focusing on developing high-tech diesel engine products and constantly improving the core competitiveness of enterprises. Since 1980s, patented diesel engine technology has been introduced from France, Japan and Germany. By digesting, understanding and absorbing innovation, the factory has gradually stepped into a benign development track of combining military and civilian and moving forward with land. The products are not only used for naval ship power, but also widely used in ship power station, land power station, diesel locomotive, emergency power supply of nuclear power station and other fields. In 2000, the factory successfully completed the research and development of type III military aircraft and type I civil aircraft, overcoming difficulties such as financial constraints. In 200 1 and 2002, three types of civil aircraft were developed successively. In 2003, the factory continued to accelerate the pace of technological innovation, set up a product research and development center, strengthened the establishment of new product research projects, accelerated the development and localization of new technologies and products, and enhanced the technical reserve of dual-use products for military and civilian use. The successful development of new products has won more market space and economic benefits for the factory. From the end of 2000 to 2003, the factory undertook a certain number of military diesel engine supply contracts. Civil ship products have stable quality and reliable performance, which have been recognized by the majority of users and occupy a place in the civil ship market. At the same time, it has also attracted the attention of some famous large foreign enterprises. By the end of 2003, the factory has established cooperative partnerships with France Thermal Engine Association, Daihatsu Corporation of Japan, Niigata Iron Works, MTU Corporation of Germany, MANB & W Corporation, Vassilian Corporation of Finland and GE Corporation of the United States. Caterpillar, the world's largest construction machinery manufacturer, also visited the factory for development. While introducing foreign new products and technologies, the factory is cooperating with domestic research institutes to develop new ship power. The factory has formulated the product development plan before 20 15, established the production pattern of "small core and large cooperation", and strived to make the factory a major supplier of domestic ship power equipment and a research and production base of China ship power, making new and greater contributions to the national economy and the modernization of the navy.
