On August 27th, the final of the first "Aerospace Cup" National Advanced Aircraft Design Competition was held in Beijing, which was in line with the national spirit of "double innovation", built a platform for scientific and technological innovation exhibition and exchange, "competed" with technology and "played tricks" with creativity. The competition brought together outstanding talents in the aerospace field, led the development of aircraft technology in the direction of intelligence, spawned subversive innovative technologies and their applications, stimulated innovation awareness and enthusiasm, and boosted the development of the aerospace industry.

The contest was jointly sponsored by the Center for National Defense Science, Technology, Industry, Aerospace and National Defense Innovation and the China Aerospace Society, hosted by China Second Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology, and co-organized by the Eighth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, China Tenth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beihang University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Beijing Institute of Technology and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

The design theme of the competition is based on intelligent aircraft and other new aircraft flying in the atmosphere, adjacent space and outer space, focusing on the current hot technology direction and closely fitting the technical characteristics of the new era. At the same time, we actively encourage cross-border cooperation, cross-integration, collaborative innovation, and provide mentoring guidance to help contestants realize their dreams.

After three rounds of rigorous examination by an expert committee composed of academicians, senior experts from industrial departments and university professors, the organizing committee selected 15 works from 98 entries created by college students and aerospace enthusiasts to enter the finals.

In the final session, the 15 team that advanced to the final explained the design scheme, principle and innovative features of the work in the form of PPT, scheme, animation and object.

The judges scored comprehensively from the aspects of innovation of design ideas and technical integration, depth and technical feasibility of scheme design, application prospect and expression form, and selected the grand prize.

It is particularly worth mentioning that in order to give the winners a better employment platform, the first and second authors who won the grand prize of this competition can get a "green card" for direct employment, and the first, second and third authors of the team can get interview opportunities on the basis of meeting the recruitment conditions of the second part. At the same time, all contestants have the opportunity to get in touch with master experts in the domestic aircraft field, communicate in depth and inspire each other; You can also cooperate with the organizers in depth to put creative ideas into national innovation projects.

In the publicity work of this competition, the propagandists traveled to 9 major cities such as Xi, Wuhan, Changsha, Nanjing, Tianjin, Beijing, Harbin, Shanghai and Hangzhou, and visited Tsinghua, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Harbin Institute of Technology and other 15 universities. After the presentation, the organizing committee received enthusiastic contributions from college students.
