Xiangyang Technician College is a full-time comprehensive public vocational college organized by Xiangyang Municipal People's Government. Established on 1960, 20 12, approved by Hubei provincial people's government in May, and put on record by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. It is integrated by Xiangyang Senior Technical School, Xiangyang No.2 Senior Technical School and Xiangyang No.3 Technical School, and belongs to Xiangyang Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

The College is located at the foot of Lumen Mountain in Jin Dong New District, Xiangyang City, directly opposite Xiangyang East Station (high-speed railway station), with a planned area of 1.008 mu and a construction area of 360,000 square meters. It is one of the top ten public construction projects in Jin Dong New District determined by Xiangyang Municipal People's Government.
